Nursing/Eating: We are still trying to find a balance with our new nursing relationship. Some days Cash nurses in the morning, a few times throughout the day and then to sleep. Other days all he wants to do is nurse, nurse, nurse. He does eat a ton of food so I’m surprised at how much he nurses sometimes. He loves meat! Every morning when he wakes up the first word out of his mouth is “meat” or “meat stick” (EPIC bars). He also loves eggs, smoothies, veggies, fruit and nana’s paleo muffins. He is such a good little eater!

Potty Learning: Cash is doing so great with his potty learning! It’s truly amazing! He rarely has accidents and when he does it’s usually because we don’t make it to the potty in time. His Sloomb trainers are amazing and hold almost an entire pee when we do have an accident. When we are out and about we take his Baby Bjorn potty chair and leave it in the backseat of the truck. Before we go into a store we ask him if he needs to pee and if he does we put him on it. At night he will wake us up if he needs to pee. I think he has only had 3-4 nighttime accidents since we switched to trainers. At home he tells us when he has to pee and if he want to use the “big potty” or the “little potty”.

Sleep: Somehow Cash switched to a later sleep schedule and has turned into a night owl. He goes to bed between 9 PM and 10 PM now and sleeps until 5-6 AM most mornings. After he nurses he usually goes back to sleep until 7-7:30 AM. If Nick gets up he hears the door open and immediately sits up and says, “help, daddy”. He loves to help Nick feed the dogs and make coffee and tea in the morning. Most nights he sleeps pretty well, but we have the occasional night where he wakes up at 3 AM and wants to nurse. Those nights are super tough if he won’t settle down with some snuggles and water.

Cash is napping on his own now and usually sleeps for about an hour and a half. If I’m napping with him he will sleep for 2-3 hours. My mom is pretty good at getting him to sleep by reading to him. If she reads him to sleep I can usually transfer him to the bed without him waking up so that’s a huge bonus!

Likes/Dislikes: Cash loves books, cars, dump trucks, coloring, playing outside, baths, running around like a crazy boy, cooking, climbing anything and everything and helping mama, daddy and nana with anything and everything.

We still have a nightly struggle with brushing his teeth. He screams and cries every time. It’s so sad, but we have to brush his teeth so there’s no way around it.

Activities: We have been really busy with our flips the past couple of months so Cash has seen tons of Lowes and Home Depot. He also had a play date with my friend’s daughter (my mom set it up and watched both of them for date night). He had so much fun with a friend at nana’s house!

We also made a trip to the pumpkin patch and he had a blast picking out all the tiny gourds and pumpkins!

For my birthday my dad took us out to dinner at Angelo's, my favorite organic Italian restaurant. Cash had so much fun with the wine glasses and silverware.

Health: Cash has been super healthy! I got a horrid stomach flu but luckily it didn’t touch him!

Best Moment: Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving tree decorating. I love absolutely love Thanksgiving and Christmas and it’s ten times more amazing sharing that joy with my family.
