Father's Day turned out to be almost perfect! On mother's Day we had to deal with some emergency issues with my grandpa so this more than made up for that!
Since it's hard to go out for a sit down meal with a busy bee toddler, we decided to stay home and have a family BBQ. Grass fed burgers were grilled, organic veggies were baked and kombucha was consumed.
After dinner it was present time! Cash LOVES to help with anything and everything so he was the official present and card giver! He was so excited to pass overthink out to his daddy, pops, papa and Opa!
My mom, Cash and I prepared some extra special Father's Day gifts for Nick and all of the grandpas. Cash loved putting his hand print on each canvas and was covered in ink by the end!
After presents we relaxed and enjoyed our backyard. Even since we fenced our yard and put in a play area we have been spending way more time outside. I know we will soak up every single ounce of summer this year.
We ended the night with dessert and a little more family time. Cash ate his first official "cupcake" - Paleo Parents Chunky Monkey Muffins (minus the toppings on his).
Overall is was just about perfect! I can't wait for Father's Day next year!
