Cash’s 1st Birthday Party

Life has been so busy since Cash’s birthday so this post is WAY overdue!

On December 12th we had Cash’s 1st birthday party at our house. We decorated the house with gold, grey and black decorations and served chicken taco soup, chips with salsa, hummus and guacamole and veggies and fruit.

December 12th is also my grandma Weasie's birthday so we celebrated her 91st birthday as well! Weasie just adores Cash, she calls him "the little guy". I cherish the moments that they get to spend together because I know they won't last forever.

Our friends and family showed up to celebrate with us and a few of Cash’s friends came also!

Cash was is such a great mood the whole time! He loved looking at all of his presents and absolutely loved the balloons! The present opening was a group effort and all the kids had a great time opening all the wonderful gifts.

Instead of giving Cash a smash cake we decided to give him a “smash sweet potato” since he loves sweet potatoes and hasn’t had any sugar yet. We put some sparkler candles in the middle and helped him blow them out. Cash had a great time eating his sweet potato and kept trying to share it with his grandpa Tom.

The Green Toys tractor from my God mom was the absolute hit of the party! All the kids wanted their turn with the tractor.

Cash has such a blast and played so hard all day that he ended up nursing and crashing after everyone left! It was a perfect 1st birthday!
