How Far Along?
31-34 Weeks
Total Weight Gain: 20 pounds. Last time I weighed myself I was 130.
Symptoms: I’ve
had a really rough 4 weeks. It started to go down hill when I had a week of
pregnancy insomnia, then my SI flared up and my hips and lower back started
hurting as well. Every night I’m wide awake for 2-4 hours so I’m exhausted.
Cruz dropped so early so I feel everything in my hips and have a ton of
pressure on my bladder almost constantly. I’ve also had some pretty intense
heartburn and nausea.
Movement? Cruz is
one busy boy! It’s amazing how strong both of my boys have been in the womb.
Sometimes I feel like he’s going to come through my skin! Cruz get the hiccups
almost daily just like Cash! My midwife said it’s the sign of a well formed
diaphragm.
Sleep? As I
mentioned above I have not been sleeping well. I’m exhausted all the time. I so
badly want to sleep but I’m so uncomfortable that it’s almost impossible to get
a good night sleep.
Exercise? It has
been raining so much latly so anytime we have good weather we are trying to
take advantage of it by going on walks and taking Cash to the park. I cannot
wait for summer!
Food Cravings: I
recently discovered RX Bars and I love them! I have a blueberry RX Bar and a
string cheese in the middle of the night when I wake up hungry.
Food Aversions:
None. I just don’t like anything scented – perfume/cologne, laundry detergent,
candles, plug ins etc. They turn my stomach.
Happy or Moody?
I’ve been pretty up and down these past few weeks. It’s so hard to stay
positive and not let my emotions get the best of me when I’m so tired. This has
definitely been a tough pregnancy. I get super emotional when I think about how
much I enjoyed being pregnant with Cash and how different it is the second time
around.
Miss Anything?
Sleep. Sleep. Sleep.
Best Moment This
Week: I always love our appointments with our midwives. Cash gets to help
take my blood pressure and he loves to hear the heartbeat. I adore the look of
pure joy on his face when hears it.
Looking Forward to:
Meeting Cruz! I can’t wait to see what he looks like!
